Roy Pink Cycles

Roy and Alex Pink established Roy Pink Cycles in 1990. The shop began life as a small cycle retail outlet. A successful initial two years of trading enabled Roy Pink Cycles to expand during 1992. Today the business boasts two showrooms and a fully equipped Shimano Service Centre Workshop along with the Pink's newest enterprise - Kite Planet.

Keeping up with the constant changes in the Bike and Kite industries takes a lot of dedication. The team at Roy Pink Cycles and Kite Planet have this dedication - alongside a passion for and an extensive knowledge of the products that they sell. This means that whatever the service, product or information required, there will be someone perfectly suited to deal with the request. Our Shimano Service Centre employs only CYTECH NVQ trained mechanics, providing a highly professional repair service.

Kite Planet

Kite Planet was created in 2002, born out of Alex's love of flying and the growing national interest in Power Kiting. Alex discovered Power Kiting in 2001 whilst travelling the world. He was lucky enough to spend time at the legendary 'Peter Lynns' kite company and used the opportunity to build up his kiting experience and develop the product knowledge needed to venture into the industry. The Kite Planet outlet and showroom opened on the premises of the cycle shop during the following year. Since its conception this division of Roy Pink Cycles has grown to offer a members kiting field, kite demonstration days, hire facilities and holds a complete kiting product range.
